Best way to sum up the Evil Offering is with a little bike maths...
Low centre of Gravity
= A PARTY BIKE
If your idea of fun is Schralping berms, hitting lips and whipping like Finn Iles then the Offering may be your ticket. The layout of the bike always has you finding and playing at your limits whenever the speed hits 11 on the dial. But this rig is equally happy slaying more xc trails as it is berm days.
The short back end defiantly helps with tight switchbacks and the low BB and the down low mass makes dropping the bike into corners effortless. But, they can get you into trouble. Rock and root strikes can happen, but I found running a little less sag helped with this without killing the awesome suspension kinematics. The bonus was also the suspension riding high on its stable pedal platform for climbs. Also pay attention to body position and keep weight over the front wheel for cornering, this thing begs you to shred you can find yourself squatting over the rear end for rear wheel traction....but, get grip on the front, let the back slide if it wants and the Offering will shoot back out the other end.
